After Kev rolled his truck, insurance totalled it out and he ended up buying a 1/2 ton crew cab, allowing him to use his old suspension. We were all very impressed that the kit suffered no damage at all after having the truck roll over 3 times in Pismo.

At this point, the body has already been dismantled in order to sell off the good parts. The Motor/Tranny were transplanted into Mike's truck, so the only thing left was the frame, suspension, and axles. This made it very easy to take apart the old kit.

The plan of attack we took was to have Daniel start pulling apart the original front suspension, Dad work on swapping in the rear axle (4.88's installed already from old axle), and Kev would pull apart the lift kit.

Here Dan helps Dad roll the old axle with the lift springs under the truck.

By the end of the night, the rear axle was installed and the front suspension was torn off - allowing Kev to clean up the frame.

The next morning Kev got right to work laying out the lift pieces for installation.

The front axle will also be swapped in since it is also geared with 4.88's from the old truck

The lift is finally starting to come together...

Here Kev is drilling out the hole to install the dual shock hoops

Suspension is done, but where are those tires!?!

Kev was too busy taking the picture, so Dad ended up lifting the tire for installation...

The final product...looks similar to the old truck. May the 04 Rest In Peace
